The Home Gateway is controlled by its infrared remote.
Simply plug your video and audio sources into the
gateway and then connect the gateway DLI™ fiber
optic outputs to HDTVs, potentially located far away.
With the home gateway remote, each HDTV can select
which video and audio to view and listen to.
The Home gateway will make it possible for many average
income, do it yourself consumers, to experience whole
house high definition video/audio distribution. Before
OWLink, these consumers would most likely have had
to hire someone to setup a whole house system which
could be cost prohibitive.
