television while listening to music from the stereo system.
The award-winning FO2800/FO2850 components easily lend themselves to commercial
applications such as sports bars, public displays, gyms, and security centers to name a few.
Because OWLink’s technology is more cost-effective, upgrading complete systems for high
definition are less expensive for commercial and home deployments.
Demonstrations of OWLink’s award-winning products will be held at the company’s CES
suite at the Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and at the company’s booth Innovations
POD IP232 at the Sands Convention Center.

Demonstrations at CES 2007
Tustin, CA January 5, 2007 - OWLink Technology has announced an exploratory relationship
with Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America in which OWLink will demonstrate the compatibility
of their fiber optic technology with the Mitsubishi NetCommand home theatre control system
at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show, January 8-11 in Las Vegas.
OWLink's patented technology enables the transmission of uncompressed high-definition
digital signals over a single transparent fiber link at distances up to 400 meters.
The same fiber link supports the transmission of voice/audio data as well
as bi-directional control signals. Because it is approximately the thickness
of high-test fishing line, the fiber link is virtually invisible to the naked eye after installation.
NetCommands® , a feature on select Mitsubishi HDTVs, enables single remote control
of an entire home theatre system. Using OWLink Technology, video and data sources,
including satellite and/or cable boxes, DVD players, and home computers can be networked
and controlled via fiber link several rooms away from where the television is being
viewed. NetCommand® blends control of HDMI and IEEE 1394 digitally-connected products
and conventional IR analog connected components into a single icon-based, on-screen
control system.
"We're pleased that OWLink will be showing the connectivity capabilities
of Mitsubishi high-definition televisions when NetCommand® is integrated
with OWLink's fiber optic technology," said David Naranjo, Mitsubishi's director
of product development. " It brings incredible flexibility to the placement

OWLink to Collaborate with Micron On High Definition Security Systems
Tustin, CA October 2, 2006 - OWLink Technology has announced it will collaborate
with Micron Technology, Inc., a worldwide provider of image sensor and advanced memory solutions,
in developing a reference design for a High Definition Closed Circuit Television (HD-CCTV)
camera for use in industrial and residential security applications. The announcement
was made during the 52nd annual ASIS International Seminar and Exhibition in San Diego,
California.
HD-CCTV delivers a much higher degree of picture detail than CCTV, but is limited
to a maximum cabling distance of five meters between components. Coaxial or Ethernet-based
systems carry signals over greater distances, but do so by compressing the video signal,
resulting in a significant loss of picture quality. Compression also delays signal
transmission due to front-end processing.
OWLink's patented technology will enable the transmission of uncompressed digital signals
from a Micron CMOS image sensor to a digital video recorder or PC over a single transparent
fiber link at distances greater than 2,000 meters. The same fiber link will support
the transmission of bi-directional control signals and voice/audio data as well.
"As this market continues its shift from standard TV resolution cameras to HD
or greater resolution and frame rate cameras, it also needs to change how it moves the imagery
back to the viewing or storage site, " said Paul Gallagher, Micron's imaging director
of new market development. "OWLink's single fiber approach addresses this need in an efficient
and practical manner without compromising on image quality."
"The CCTV market is facing serious challenges with the development of high resolution
imagers because of the need for compression when transmitting video data,"
said Paul Tzeng, CEO of OWLink. "OWLink's single fiber solution eliminates
the need to compress data, allowing high resolution image sensors to be used
to their full potential. As the world's leading provider of CMOS image sensors, Micron
makes a great partner for us in the development of HD-CCTV systems."

World’s First Wireless Uncompressed HDMI Wins CES Innovation Award.
OWLink’s i2000 is honored by Consumer Electronics Association as one of the honorees
of Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Award in Video Accessories category.
This wireless HD home entertainment system is developed with convenience, the best picture quality,
and freedom of placement in mind. With the growing popularity of mounting plasma display on walls,
there is a rising demand to find a technology that provides total freedom of placing expensive,
high-end audio/video components anywhere in a room without having cluttered cables.
The most promising and convenient solution is wireless communication technology , but conventional
wireless technologies need to compress image data before transmitting. It is known
that compressed video signal is unable to achieve the image quality consumers are looking
for, particularly the High-Definition Multimedia Interface(HDMI) video sources like DVD players
used in so many of today’s home theaters.
OWLink ™ solved these problems by developing a wireless technology not only
that is easy to use, but more importantly, is capable of transmitting true uncompressed high definition
video images and audio wirelessly without loss of quality. The result is
OWLink ™’s Optical Wireless HD Transmission System. In addition,
OWLink’s optical solution provides the kind of robust digital content protection
such as the industry accepted High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) demanded
by today’s entertainment industry.
The technical features include:
- High-speed optical wireless communication with 2.5Gbps data rate.
- No compression required, no picture quality loss.
- Automatic optical alignment functions.
- CEA will display OWLink i2000 in the Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase,
booth #72444, in the CES Innovations Plus exhibits at the Sands Expo and Convention Center from,
